Major Fuel Price Relief for Australians

This morning, ahead of Peter Dutton's Budget In Reply speech, the Coalition has committed to practical cost of living relief.

An elected Dutton Coalition Government will provide immediate relief by cutting fuel excise by 25 cents for 12 months – halving the current rate!

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨?

This means excise rates for petrol and diesel will drop from 50.8 cents to 25.4 cents per litre. For a household with one vehicle filling up once a week, this translates to savings of around $14 a week – or $700-750 over a year. Households with two cars will save about $28 a week, or nearly $1500 annually.

We will make this a priority on the FIRST sitting day of the next Parliament because the cost of living is our number ONE priority.

Only a Liberal National Party Government - led by Peter Dutton - will deliver real cost-of-living relief.
