1000 Days and Local Campaign for Labor to Deliver Single Election Promise: A Battery
Why did it take over 1,000 days and another election for Labor to deliver their one and only promise to Fisher? Before the 2022 election, they committed to a community battery—but for years, nothing happened. This morning, I called them out in the media, and suddenly, today, the battery was connected. A coincidence? I don’t think so. We shouldn’t have to keep dragging this government kicking and screaming to deliver on their own promises. Fisher deserves better, and residents of Caloundra could have been saving on their energy bills long ago. It is too late for Labor to start playing politics, when they should be delivering for our community.
