Celebrating Local Legends on the Permanent Record

I took a moment to celebrate some inspiring locals and our Sunshine Coast Hinterland in Parliament this week - permanently recording local achievements in the parliamentary record.

Congratulations once again to:

  • Carmel Crouch AM from STEPS Group Australia/STEPS Pathways College

  • Korey Boddington OAM from Moolooolaba

  • Jamie Perkins OAM from Alexandra Headland

  • Claire Smith, QLD Local Hero from Wildlife Rescue Sunshine Coast

I also gave a shout-out to the Mooloolaba Rotary and Maleny District Sport and Rec Club, including Cliff and Theresa, for their great work hosting Australia Day ceremonies.

We are a stronger community because of the dedication and determination of local legends like these and I couldn't prouder to be their Federal Member for Fisher.
