Welcome to Fisher’s Newest Citizens!

I think it's one of my favourite parts of the job: celebrating those who've made the pledge to become Australian citizens- with all the freedoms, responsibilities and opportunities it affords.

At Kawana, we welcomed another 66 citizens from 20 different countries, bringing to 91 the number of new Fisheries citizens today!

I impressed upon all new conferees the importance contributing to the community and exercising the DUTIES, not just the privileges, of citizenship.

What an honour!
