Yesterday, I spoke with the incredible Jen Kettleton-Butler from the PPCMB, talking about the challenges facing Golden Beach and the Caloundra community since the Bribie Island Breakthrough.

Since Day 1, I’ve supported Coast Guard Caloundra - QF4, Caloundra Power Boat Club and local environmental groups in their campaign for urgent attention from all levels of government. What recent weather events showed is that we urgently need government to develop a robust, long-term solution.

This isn't about politics - it's about protecting our community's future and I'm grateful that people like Jen are stepping in the gap to raise community awareness and protect this little patch of paradise we get to call home.
