New Headspace in Caloundra Delivered for Fisher

Yesterday afternoon marked a special and long-awaited day for young people in Fisher with the official opening of headspace Caloundra.

This centre has been a work of passion and love, and while its doors have been open since December, today was about officially recognising the vital role it plays in supporting young people in our community.

The overwhelming demand for youth mental health services in our region proves just how much this space was needed. For nearly four years, I have fought to make this a realityโ€”because ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜๐—ต ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—ฎ ๐—น๐˜‚๐˜…

To every young person in Fisher: headspace Caloundra is here for you. If you or someone you know needs support, donโ€™t hesitate to drop in to the friendly team.

We MUST prioritise mental health and ensure that our community gets the care it deserves.
