Celebrating Local Champions with Australia Awards

Congratulations to these Sunshine Coast locals on their recognition through the 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 in this year's Australia Day Honours:

• Carmel Crouch AM: STEPS Group (Woombye)

  For significant service to people with disability.

• Korey Boddington OAM: ARA Australian Cycling Team (Mooloolaba)

  For service to sport as a gold medallist at the Paris Paralympic Games 2024.

• Jamie Perkins OAM: Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club (Alexandra Headland)

  For service to sport as a gold medallist at the Paris Olympic Games 2024.
