While Cyclone Has Eased, Danger Isn’t Over

Although ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred has eased, the danger isn’t over yet. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued warnings for heavy rain, strong winds, dangerous surf, and potential flooding across the Sunshine Coast.

Please don’t become complacent—conditions can change quickly, and floodwaters remain unpredictable and dangerous. If you’re on the roads, drive to conditions and never enter floodwaters.
